Q 3: Is wearing a watch considered included in the prohibition against wearing iron?
A 3 : Wearing a watch chain is not considered included in wearing iron; because there is no intention to adorn oneself with it, and because of the great benefit in wearing it. It is well known that the sword and the like of weapons are not free from iron, and there is no dislike in using them; rather, that is prescribed due to the need for them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
