The Use of Oud and Nard in the Mosque
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6339 )
Q 2: The original oud and the nard fragrance, a type of which is found in this message, is it permissible to use it in the mosque? Because some citizens disliked using both types, and there are those who perfume the mosques and have refrained from doing so because of their dislike?
A 2: If it is a paste that does not contain anything forbidden, then it is permissible to use it. If it contains something of that, then it is not permissible. If it is unknown, the original ruling for things is purity and permissibility, unless there is evidence indicating otherwise. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
