The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18870 )
Q 3: There is disagreement among many groups of Salafi brothers, and they differ from other Islamic associations in methodology and the scientific principles upon which they base their da'wah. Is the disagreement existing among the Salafi brothers considered less sinful than the disagreement existing between them and the other associations, given that the disagreement among the Salafi groups is in application and transactions, while the disagreement
with others is in methodology and scientific principles?
A 3: It is obligatory to avoid disagreement among Muslims in general and scholars in particular. If any disagreement occurs, it is obligatory to return to the Book and the Sunnah to know the truth, take it, and leave what contradicts it. Allah the Exalted said:[Ash-Shuraa 42:10] the verse, and Allah the Exalted said: [An-Nisa 4:59] , and this encompasses every dispute among the believers in creed, words, and deeds. It is obligatory to refer it to the Book and the Sunnah to take the correct and leave the incorrect, and to be pleased with the judgment of Allah and His Messenger and submit to it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

And in anything over which you disagree - its ruling is [to be referred] to Allah.
وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِAnd if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.
