The reward of one hundred tasbih

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 10810 )
Q 1: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Is one amongst you powerless to get one thousand virtues every day. Amongst those who had been sitting there, one asked: How one amongst us can get one thousand virtues every day? He said: Recite:" Exalted is Allah (He is free from imperfection) one hundred times for (by reciting them) one thousand virtues are recorded (to your credit) and one thousand vices are blotted out.أيعجز أحدكم أن يكسب كل يوم ألف حسنة؟ فسأله سائل من جلسائه: كيف يكسب أحدنا ألف حسنة؟ قال: يسبح مائة تسبيحة فتكتب له ألف حسنة، أو تحط عنه ألف خطيئة
Sahih Muslim 2698
.
Is the intention that one should recite one hundred tasbihas, just as one recites thirty-three tasbihas after the completion of the prayer, but adding to them until they reach one hundred, yet in the same manner, where each finger is used for three tasbihas? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.

A 1: The meaning is that one should say: (Subhan Allahi wa bihamdih) [Glory be to Allah and His praise] one hundred times.
