Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 11057 )
Q 2: When a person pulls out a tooth in our area, they throw it toward the eye of the sun and say: “O eye of the sun, here is a donkey’s tooth, and give me a gazelle’s tooth.”
A 2 : Supplicating to the sun and calling upon it for aid is major shirk (associating partners with Allah), and what was mentioned in the question is of this type. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
