If a man is praying alone and then another joins him, and when the first one finishes and the second stands up to complete the prayer, a third man joins him, is that permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a person enters and finds someone completing his prayer and joins him until the first one finishes and stands up to complete his own, and then another person enters and finds this person also completing, the following of the imam may become a chain?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with this, but we do not say that this is a recommended practice, because the first one caught up with the congregation and prayed in congregation, so he was a follower of the first one. I do not know of any Sunnah that indicates this, although some scholars have explicitly stated its permissibility and said that there is nothing wrong with it. The chaining that you mentioned is not forbidden and is not prohibited.
