Q4: Is it permissible for a Muslim to dance and play the hand drum?
A4: Dancing by women and playing the hand drum on the occasions of marriage, provided that men do not participate in it, we know of no harm in it. As for dancing by men, whether accompanied by the hand drum or not, we know of no evidence indicating its being prescribed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
