Q2: Is it permissible to pierce the ear of a slave girl for the sake of an earring?
A2: It is permissible; because it is for adornment, and not for harm or to change the creation of Allah, and because that was known in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance and during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he did not prohibit it, rather he approved it, and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) approved it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
