A woman’s seclusion in a daycare center with non-mahram men present

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 19591 )
Q1: I work as the director of a daycare center, and sometimes there are male guardians who come to enroll their children. It happens that I am alone with the guardian in the office, and on other occasions, I am alone with the chairman of the board in the office to discuss work matters, and the meeting may last an hour or more. Does this count as seclusion, even though the door is open and the daycare is full of staff? Please note that, praise be to Allah, I wear the Islamic hijab (the niqab).
A1: It is not permissible for a woman to be in seclusion with a man who is not one of her mahram relatives; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No man should be alone with a woman because the Shaitan will be the third one present.لا يخلون رجل بامرأة، فإن ثالثهما الشيطان
Musnad Ahmad 177Sahih (Darussalam)
narrated by Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi and others. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to do what you mentioned with the male visitors and officials.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
