Q2: In our country, individuals are not permitted to transfer currency outside the country, and whoever violates this is subject to punishment. Is it permissible for someone who wishes to obtain foreign currency while in one of the countries to use a check to obtain foreign currency ?
A2 : If the intention is that he transfers his money from his country to the country where he wants the money to be, through one of the banks, and he takes from it a check on the party from whom he receives the money, then that is permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
