Q2: My mother and I performed 'Umrah, and when we completed the tawaf, she felt tired. Since she is ill and advanced in age, I stopped during the sa'y and had her ride in a car for all the laps of the sa'y. Is this permissible or not?
A2: There is no blame on you for performing sa'y with your mother in a car, because she is excused and it is difficult for her to perform sa'y on foot. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
