Fatwa No. ( 13252 )
Q: I performed the obligatory Hajj and I was in the state of tamattu', and I performed 'Umrah and exited from my state of ihram, and on the eighth day I entered the state of ihram and performed all the pillars of Hajj, but I forgot the sa'y without intending to. So what is required of me?
Please issue a ruling for us, may Allah reward you with good, and is my Hajj valid or what? May Allah preserve you.
A: It is obligatory for you to return to Makkah for the sa'y of Hajj; because the one performing tamattu' is required to perform two sa'ys: one for 'Umrah, and one for Hajj. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
