Facilitating the Process of Debt
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q9: Is there a sin on me for facilitating the process of debt, such as selling a car to a person who wants to sell it on credit, and keeping it with me in the showroom until he sells it? Knowing that it is sold several times, and it is inside the showroom, from one creditor to one debtor.
A9: Whoever does that while knowing what the buyers want from him is
sinful; because of what is in that of cooperating in what Allah has forbidden, namely selling goods before taking possession of them. Likewise, the seller is sinful; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling goods until the merchants take them to their homes.
