Q4: Is it permissible for the traveler to break his fast during his journey while staying for days in a country, just as he shortens the prayer there, or not?
A4: Yes, it is permissible for him to break his fast while traveling, just as it is permissible for him to shorten the prayer
in the state of travel and the state of residing in a country where the residence does not negate the ruling of travel, which is a residence of four days or less. If he resides for more than that with the intention of staying, he must complete the prayer and it is obligatory for him to fast according to the majority of scholars. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
