A12: It is not permissible for a wealthy person to delay payment, which is when a wealthy person who is able to pay the right that is obligatory upon him delays it, as it is established from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1308Sahih (Darussalam) It is agreed upon as authentic.
