The ruling on performing wudu' after eating camel fat, offal, and intestines
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 1257 )
Q1: We have heard a disagreement regarding camel fat, offal, and intestines. Some say that they are treated like the meat, and there is no evidence for an exception. Others say that the hadith explicitly mentions the meat and nothing else, and that there is no wudu' required for fat and offal. What is the correct position in this matter? And if a camel foal is born and slaughtered before it has suckled milk, is it treated as meat or as offal and intestines?
A1: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... After that: Wudu' is not invalidated except by meat, according to what came in the authentic hadith
The authentic hadith, which is the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): , and the young camel foal is included in this, even if it has not drunk milk, due to the generality of the hadith. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
