The Position of Children in the Prayer Row

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 1954 )
Q3: A man has a boy or more who have not reached puberty. Where should the boys stand, behind him or to his right?
A3: It is the Sunnah for boys who have reached the age of seven or older to stand behind the imam, like adults. As for if there is only one boy, he stands to his right;
because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he prayed in the house of Abu Talhah and placed Anas and the orphan behind him, and Umm Sulaym behind them. It is also established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) in another narration that he prayed with Anas and placed him to his right, and he prayed with Ibn Abbas and placed him to his right. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
