Wiping over the turban

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of fatwa number ( 6252 )
Q 2: Is it permissible to wipe over the turban if there is no excuse, such as illness or the like, but one does not wish to remove his turban and prefers to wipe over it?
A 2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions. After that: The one performing wudu may wipe over what is visible of his head and hair, and complete the wiping over his turban if he put it on while in a state of ritual purity. This is for one day and night for the resident, and for three days and their nights for the traveler, just as with the leather socks; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did so. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
