Discussion of the rulings regarding clothing and its evils.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can mislead, and whoever He misleads, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family and his Companions and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment).
As for what follows: I remind you, O my brothers, of what Allah has bestowed upon us in this land, of what Allah has bestowed upon us in this land, of prosperity, security, and stability, and other things that are not found in many lands. You know, or many of you know, what is happening in the world in terms of evils, trials, and disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, and so on. There is no doubt that blessings require us to be grateful, because if we thank Allah (Mighty and Majestic), Allah the Exalted said:
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' " وإذ تأذن ربكم لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
[Ibrahim 14:7]
Thus, Allah the Exalted made it clear that through gratitude He increases blessings. But if the opposite occurs, which is disbelief, then Allah the Exalted will punish those upon whom Allah bestowed blessings but who replaced Allah’s blessing with disbelief.
