The prayer is invalidated by loud laughter
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 6096 )
Q4: They say: A smile invalidates the prayer, and loud laughter invalidates both the ablution and the prayer, is this correct?
A4: The prayer is invalidated by loud laughter, but it is not invalidated by a mere smile, and the ablution is not invalidated by loud laughter, whether it occurs during the prayer or outside of it; because there is no valid evidence for its invalidation by that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
