Entering churches for the purpose of da'wah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 17971 )
Q2: There are many churches here. Is it permissible to enter them and debate the priests who are in them? Is it permissible to enter them to look around and know what these people do?
A2: It is permissible for scholars to enter churches to call their people to Islam. However, entering them merely for the sake of sightseeing is not recommended, because there is no benefit in it, and because there is a fear that the Muslim may be influenced by them, especially if he is ignorant of the matters of his religion and unable to refute the doubts they direct at him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
