Bringing magazines containing images into mosques

Fatwa No. ( 3899 )
Q: Some of the brothers bring in magazines to explain matters to people, such as what was published in the magazine (Al-I'tisam) and what it raised regarding the topic of imported meats. It is known that the magazine publishes images of scholars inside the magazine and on the cover. Is this permissible; that is, bringing this magazine and its images into the mosque to explain a legal matter, such as the matter of imported meats? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith:
As for using pictures in the mosque to clarify a legal matter, such as the ruling on imported meats, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith:
The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.إن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتًا فيه كلب أو صورة
Sunan Ibn Majah 3650Hasan (Darussalam)
So what about us in the mosque?

A: One of the principles of the Shari'ah is that matters are judged by their intentions. If the intention behind bringing magazines—containing pictures—into the mosques is a predominant legal benefit, then it is permissible; otherwise, it is not. It is obligatory to obscure the heads of the pictures before bringing them into the mosques, and likewise if one intends to store them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
