The Muslim must follow the two revelations: the Book and the Sunnah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number (9783)
Q 1: Is it permissible for a person to combine the four well-known schools of jurisprudence and act according to them, instead of choosing the school followed in his region?
A 1: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And after: It is obligatory for the Muslim to follow the two revelations: the Book and the Sunnah, and what is added to them that relies upon them. This is if the person is one of the scholars; if he is not, he follows the most trustworthy scholar he knows among the scholars. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
