Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question 5 of Fatwa No. ( 6304 ):
Q5: Allah the Exalted said: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, in Surat al-Fatihah
(6) Guide us to the straight path - (7) The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
[Al-Fatihah 1:6-7]
Amen. I want to know the meaning of the straight path, who are those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor with this path, and what is the meaning of Amen?

A5: The meaning of the straight path : It is the clear path in which there is no deviation. It was said: It is the Qur'an. It was said: It is Islam. It was said: It is the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). All of these are correct, for whoever follows the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has followed Islam, and whoever follows Islam has followed the Qur'an. As for those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor, Ibn Kathir said in his tafsir: al-Dahhak said from Ibn Abbas : "The path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favor with their obedience and worship, from Your angels, Your prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the righteous. This is similar to what our Lord the Exalted said:
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.
[An-Nisa 4:69]
And the meaning of Amen is: O Allah, accept. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
