Q3: As we know, the Noble Qur'an has its sanctity, such that only the purified may touch it. What is your opinion regarding a tape recorded with the Noble Qur'an for a man or a woman if they are in a state of major ritual impurity, or if the woman is menstruating? Is it permissible to touch or carry the tape containing the Noble Qur'an?
A: There is no blame on carrying or touching a tape recorded with the Qur'an for one who is in a state of major ritual impurity or the like. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
