Q8: Please explain the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Ibn Majah 4126Da’if (Darussalam) ?.
A8: The hadith mentioned is weak, and its meaning, if it were authentic, is that one should be
humble and distant from the causes of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation); because wealth generally leads to arrogance and falling into trials and sins. And Allah knows best. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
