Continuation of the ruling on the secret habit, for we hear some people say regarding it: dire necessities permit the forbidden.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for the statement of some people: "dire necessity permits the forbidden," this does not permit that which pertains to creed. Do you see if it were said to a sick man: "You will not be cured unless you commit unlawful sexual intercourse." Would he commit unlawful sexual intercourse? It is not possible for him to commit unlawful sexual intercourse, because one of the conditions for permitting the forbidden in cases of dire necessity is that the necessity is removed by that act.
In any case: Ibn al-Qayyim divided this issue in this manner. And whoever wants more of that should refer to the book of Tawhid by the Shaykh of Islam, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him). He mentioned a separate chapter on this. He said: "The Chapter on What Came Regarding the Secret Habit". Yes.
