Names in the Hijab

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: What is the meaning of a mursal hadith? And is the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) hadith:
O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, nothing of her should be visible except this and thisيا أسماء، إذا بلغت المرأة سن المحيض فلا يظهر منها إلاَّ هذا وهذا
where he pointed to the face and hands, mursal or weak? And was it said before the Surah of the Hijab or after it?

A3: A mursal hadith is one narrated by someone other than a Companion from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the hadith of Asma' mentioned, it is weak. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
