Tafsir of Surat al-Furqan
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 8763 ):
Q: Who are the slaves of Allah and the servants of Allah? And what is the ruling on one who delivers religious words in the school line, taking them from some books and then delivering them to the students? Is he rewarded for that? And what is his status if he says that without showing off or ostentation, but he fears that he may be among the three about whom the Fire is kindled?
A: First: The slaves of Allah and the servants of Allah are the Muslims who are monotheists and committed to the laws of Islam. The attributes of those people are mentioned at the end of Surat al-Furqan, starting from the saying of Allah, Glorified is He:[Al-Furqan 25:63] , to His saying, Exalted is His status: [Al-Furqan 25:75-76] . Second: Choosing a good word from any book and delivering it in the form of a sermon in a school or any gathering, with the intention of admonishing and teaching people, is not wrong; rather, it is good if the intention behind it is the Face of Allah, Glorified is He, and thereby he will not be among the three threatened with the Fire in the noble hadith.
And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
