Q: Is it permissible to recite Surat Yasin in a loud voice in the mosque or not?
A: It is not permissible for anyone to raise his voice in reciting the Qur'an in the mosque, neither with Surat Yasin nor with any other part of the Qur'an, neither in prayer nor otherwise; for it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to the people while they were praying
and raising their voices in recitation, so he said: , and because there is disturbance and harm in it, with some of them causing harm to others. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
