If a man commits one of the acts of disbelief

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The fifth question of the fatwa numbered ( 4446 ):

Q5: Is it permissible for a man to say to his companion: "You are a disbeliever" before informing him that his action is disbelief?
A5: If his companion is a disbeliever, then what is prescribed is: to inform him that his action is disbelief, and to advise him to abandon it in a good manner. If he does not abandon the action that necessitated his disbelief, then the rulings of disbelievers are applied to him, and he is threatened with what Allah has threatened those who die upon disbelief with, namely eternal abode in the Fire. And what is obligatory is: to be careful in these matters, and not to hasten in declaring someone a disbeliever until the evidence becomes clear. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
