Ruling on Establishing a Shared Place of Worship Among the Three Religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The fifteenth question of Fatwa No. ( 6364 ):

Q15: Is it permissible to establish a place of worship for the three religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam?
A15: It is not permissible; because if it is made shared among the three, it will not be founded on piety, but rather on shirk (associating partners with Allah) and the worship of other than Allah therein. There is no true religion other than Islam; as Allah the Exalted said:
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
[Ali 'Imran 3:85]
. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
