Denying authentic hadiths and interpreting the texts of the names and attributes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q4: In the mosques established by religious associations belonging to some of the Muslim sects, such as the groups that call for the judgment of reason in the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and deny thousands of authentic hadiths, and the groups that divert the names of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and His attributes from their apparent meaning, and say this evil saying: (The Salaf are more wise and the Khalaf are more knowledgeable), and have spread among the common people the saying: (That Allah exists in all of existence), and other such groups, is it permissible to pray behind an imam from the people of these creeds? And what if one of the imams of one of these mosques publicly retracts from this, do I have to demand that he disavow his affiliation with these people, or am I to be content with his statement?
A4: Whoever denies the authentic hadiths established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
and lies about them is mistaken and sinful, and there is a detailed ruling regarding declaring him a disbeliever. And whoever interprets the texts of the verses and hadiths indicating the names of Allah and His attributes and diverts them from their apparent meaning, and says: The methodology of the Salaf is more wise and safer, and the Khalaf are more knowledgeable, is mistaken in his saying that the Khalaf are more knowledgeable, for the Salaf are more knowledgeable of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and more juristic in them and more understanding of the intended meaning in the Shari'ah than the Khalaf, and their methodology is more wise and safer than the methodology of the Khalaf. And whoever says: That Allah is in every place with His Self and Essence, is a pantheist, mistaken and a disbeliever. And whoever says: That Allah is in every place with His knowledge, not with His Self, is correct. And whoever goes to the extreme and denies all the authentic hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and does not believe except in the Qur'an, is a disbeliever, and it is not permissible to pray behind him, nor is the prayer valid. Likewise, whoever goes to the extreme in interpreting the texts of the names and attributes and the Hereafter until he says with the unity of existence, or with the existence of Allah as a total existence in the minds and not outside them, or with the spiritual Hereafter rather than the bodily one, is a disbeliever, and the prayer behind him is not valid. And whoever repents from these, we accept his repentance and we entrust his inner state to Allah. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
