Q1: Is it true that people say: that when a wali (close friend of Allah) dies and is buried in his grave, the angels come and take him out of his grave and ascend with him to the sky?
A1: That is not correct. Rather, the soul ascends, and the gates of the sky are opened for it if it is a believer, or closed against it if it is a disbeliever, and then it is cast down to the earth. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
