Q1: People say: that Ibn Taymiyyah is not from the people of the Sunnah and the community , and that he is a misguiding misleader, and that Ibn Hajar and others are against him. Is their statement true or not?
A1: The Shaykh Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Halim ibn Taymiyyah is an Imam among the Imams of the people of the Sunnah and the community , who calls to the truth and to the straight path. Allah has supported the Sunnah through him and suppressed the people of innovation and deviation through him. Whoever judges him otherwise is the innovating, misguiding misleader. Their understanding has been blinded to them, so they thought
the truth to be falsehood, and falsehood to be truth. This is known by one whom Allah has illuminated the insight of, who has read his books and the books of his opponents, and compared his biography with their biographies. This is the best witness and divider between the two groups. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
