How can a Muslim who comes in the last times know whether he is from that one saved sect?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Here comes that important question: How can a Muslim who comes in the last times know whether he is from that one saved sect, or whether he is from one of those misguided sects? He said to them:
Hold fast to what I am upon and what my Companions were upon. تمسَّكوا بما أنا عليه وما كان عليه أصحابي
. Here is revealed that very important truth, which is: Why do we call for the Salaf (the earliest generations)? Because they understood Islam with a correct understanding and applied it in a practical manner; and because the Messenger (peace be upon him) commanded us to follow them in that, and he did not command us to follow any other group on this earth, absolutely not. Rather, he encouraged us to hold fast to his Sunnah (recommended practice) and to what those noble Companions were upon, and we apply the term "the Salaf (the earliest generations)" to them, and to them we belong.
