What is the ruling on traveling abroad and marrying with a valid contract and mahr, and all the conditions of marriage, but with the intention of divorce?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says:The questioner : What is the ruling on traveling abroad and marrying with a valid contract and mahr and all the conditions of marriage? But my intention is divorce?

The Shaykh : Intention of what?

The questioner : Intention of divorce.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Yes, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : How is it that one marries with the intention of divorce? Does anyone marry a woman except to remain with her? That is the norm. Allah the Exalted said:
And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجاً
[Ar-Rum 30:21]
What is it?
that you may find tranquility in them لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا
. That is the norm. The purpose of marriage is not merely for a person to satisfy his desire and lust. Yes, that is one of the purposes of marriage. But the primary purpose is that she be a tranquility to which he turns and with whom he remains until Allah separates them, either by death or divorce. As for marriage with the intention of divorce, the scholars differ on it: some permit it, and some prohibit it. But here is another matter: I have heard that some young men go to foreign countries to marry only.
