Some companies are required by the state to employ a specific number of employees during the summer vacation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says, honorableThe Shaykh : May Allah reward you. Some companies are required by the state to employ a specific number of employees during the summer vacation. So some of them hire some young people in symbolic positions, registering the names of employees with them. And they say: Come at the end of the month to collect the salaries, as the company has already had enough employees. What is the ruling on their work? And what is the ruling on those who were employed there in previous years and collected salaries from it?

The Shaykh : What is the ruling? What is the ruling?

The questioner : What is the ruling on those who were employed there in previous years and collected salaries from it?

The Shaykh : This work or this process was done by the government, may Allah reward them with good, for two reasons: The first reason is to keep students occupied and prevent them from wasting time and having free time, which may be a cause of many tragedies. The second reason is to train young people in work. Some companies have workers they no longer need. So when young people apply to them, they say: I will give you the salary. Do not work, go back to your families. And this does not fulfill the purpose of the state. Why? Because the state did this for two reasons: The first reason is to keep young people occupied and prevent them from wasting time. The second is to train young people in work. If the company says: Take this salary and do not work, it has not fulfilled the purpose. Yes.
