The Importance of Applying the Sunnah Among People in Spreading the Sunnah

The Shaykh : I am merely mentioning something and asking about it an experienced expert. You know the Sunnah, so apply it in places where it does not lead to commotion or confusion. The Imam who is traveling away from you is not far off. As for public gatherings where this authentic hadith has not been heard before, say at least in the depths of your hearts: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power nor strength except with Allah), so that people may learn this Sunnah. You are following the custom, but spread it among yourselves. It will proceed slowly, like a stone thrown into still water; it creates a first circle, then a second, then a third, until it covers the sea, so much so that the eye cannot encompass it.
And so you proceed with the promotion of the Sunnah slowly, as Allah the Exalted said: Did you understand, our brothers?
