The questioner : A long question was received which said: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. My honorable Shaykh, Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani, I love you for the sake of Allah, and I love whoever loves you, and I ask Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, to place your printed and manuscript works in the scale of your good deeds on the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit.
The Shaykh : May Allah reward him with good.
The questioner : He said: As for what follows; I have some questions for which there is no answer except with you, the first one.
The Shaykh : If Allah wills.
The questioner : We have missed your two books intensely: "Al-Thamar al-Mustatab min Fiqh al-Sunnah wa al-Kitab" and "Al-Rawd al-Nadhir fi al-Ta'liq 'ala Mu'jam al-Tabarani al-Saghir"; when will they see the light? And when will they come out to us?
The Shaykh : As for "Al-Thamar al-Mustatab," I do not think I am able to devote myself to completing it, due to the many scientific projects that surround me. As for "Al-Rawd al-Nadhir fi Tartib wa Takhrij Mu'jam al-Tabarani al-Saghir," this is actually ready with me, and it is among the first, or rather the first, of what can be said to be my authorship. However, every work, when its author begins it, is not complete. Therefore, whenever I return to this book in some of my reviews, I find in it what needs to be corrected. For this reason, I do not find my heart open to printing this book, even though it is in two large volumes; if printed, it would be in two volumes or more of the size of "Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah." But I do not allow myself to publish this book until I am able to review it from A to Z, from its beginning to its end, to supplement what needs to be supplemented, and to correct what needs to be corrected from some of the errors that appear to me whenever the scientific researches allow me to return to reviewing it.
