A vivid simile applicable to the deluded young students of knowledge.

The Shaykh : Now that verse has come to my mind, which I had not recalled just now, and it is a beautiful Arabic verse:
"And the suckling foal, if it is caught in a horn, *** cannot perform the leap of the swift, unshorn camels".
And the suckling foal, do you know what a suckling foal is?
The questioner : The offspring of a she-camel.
The Shaykh : The she-camel.
"And the suckling foal, if it is caught in a horn, *** cannot perform the leap of the swift, unshorn camels":
These young people today, the junior students, are deluded to the utmost degree, much to my deep regret. As for the saying of the earlier scholars of hadith regarding the Companions, the Successors, and those who came after them: "They are men, and we are men", this verse is what suits them.
