The Shaykh : Other than that?

The questioner : Well, here, I mean, I asked Shaykh Shu'ayb al-Arna'ut about some matters, and the conversation turned to his saying: I used to visit Shaykh Nuh for fiqh and so on, and Shaykh Nasser did not attend our gatherings?

The Shaykh : Yes, I did not attend those lessons he is referring to. However, we had a special lesson with the father, along with two young men from the al-Arna'ut family. One of them is named 'Abd al-Rahim al-Zayn al-'Abidin, and he is still alive, while the other has passed away. So we would read to him *al-Quduri* in Hanafi fiqh, and we also read to him *al-Mirah* in the science of morphology, and we completed the Qur'an with him.

The questioner : Yes, indeed.

The Shaykh : This does not mean that we did not read to him, because I was not present at the time he was attending, just as the reverse is also not necessary. Since he did not attend these special lessons of ours with the father, it is not necessary that he attended the father's lessons either. Yes.
