The Ruling on Seeking the Aid of Polytheists

The Shaykh : Therefore, this ruler, whether he is in Syria in our lands or in Iraq in your lands, this ruler will be removed. It is inevitable that one day the Muslim Iraqi and Syrian people will truly rise up. The countries that occupied and with which some Islamic states cooperated are not like the Iraqi government with the Iraqi people. They represent their peoples, and their peoples represent them. So if Bush goes, another will come. Who is Abu Sh? Do you understand? But that is not the case with Islamic countries, because they do not represent the Islamic peoples at all. Therefore, I am not as concerned with looking at the ruler as I am with looking at the ruled people. From this, it is necessary to look at the previous principle: "Necessities permit the prohibited," with the addition of "Necessity is estimated by its extent." If the Americans were to occupy Islamic countries now, the situation in the future would be much worse than the occupation of Iraq, for example, or Kuwait. The Shaykh : Then there is something here that is not considered by the one who clings to the claim of necessity.The questioner : Is it permissible for a Muslim to enter a desert where he is likely to meet his death by hunger or thirst, thereby exposing himself to consuming what Allah has forbidden? This is like those who seek the aid of disbelievers, because they did not take the necessary measures and preparation to resist tyranny, such as the tyranny of Saddam, for example. They lived for many years declaring to the Islamic peoples that there was progress, industry, and civilization, and so on. But acting on the saying of the Exalted: was absolutely nonexistent. If Saudi Arabia, for example, had engaged in the means of preparation to confront the tyranny of Saddam, for example, it would not have needed to seek the aid of America and Britain. It might not even have needed to seek the aid of some Muslim Arab states. And yet, as it is said: "May Allah have mercy on you, some evil is less than some." If Saudi Arabia had been prepared and fulfilling the religious obligation of material and moral preparation simultaneously, it would have stood against this tyrant. Because the Jews said, "Since this tyrant has seized Kuwait, then it will be Saudi Arabia's turn." So where are Saudi Arabia's preparations? It immediately resorted to seeking the aid of the disbeliever. This is not permissible. It is like the one who exposed himself to entering a desert without preparing for this entry, without taking the means of caution and safety. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : This is a hadith from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). Where are these people? First, this number does not exist, because they must be on one heart. Second, if they existed, they must apply the previous verse: There is no special preparation. The Arab states today see their enemy next to them, and they are equipped with the latest weapons of the present era. And we are sitting, watching, and boasting about side matters called mechanics and industry, and the like. As for long-term vision and supporting the weak Muslims in many Islamic countries, that is something they do not care about at all. It is sufficient in this matter to mention the aid of Russia by millions. This is also a necessity. And Allah is the One to be sought for help.
