The ruling on one who assists in disseminating the books of the Asha'irah and other misguided sects.

The questioner : He saysThe questioner : What is the ruling on one who assists in disseminating the books of the Asha'irah and other misguided sects?

The Shaykh : This question requires a clear answer. If the one printing these books is doing so so that the general public can learn from them, or to educate themselves with the discourse contained therein, or rather the science of kalam, then the second part of what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said in the Noble Qur'an applies to this:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. وتعاونوا على البر والتقوى ولا تعاونوا على الإثم والعدوان
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
. Thus, this dissemination constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression. However, if the dissemination is limited to scholars, so that they may know the deviation in these books from the Book, the Sunnah, and the methodology of the righteous predecessors, then there is nothing wrong with that. But in reality, this is only a theoretical scholarly answer; practically, it is not possible, or we do not see it being realized, because those who print these books do not print, at least, a book following the methodology of the righteous predecessors from the books of the Sunnah and the reports of the Salaf alongside them.
