The Statement Regarding 'Ammar ibn Yasir's Utterance of Disbelief

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Excellency, you stated that the context of the story of 'Ammar ibn Yasir uttering disbelief requires scrutiny, and you clarified its weakness, whereas your Excellency cites it as evidence in some of your tapes?

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly; because we found for it paths in "Tafsir Ibn Jarir al-Tabari" and "al-Durr al-Manthur" by al-Suyuti. This is an example of what we mentioned in a recent gathering, indeed very recently, that al-Albani authenticates a hadith in a book, and after a while says it is weak, or vice versa; so we clarified the reason for that. This is an example before you: this hadith has a path known for weakness; so I weakened it, then when we expanded our research, it became clear to us that it has many paths that strengthen it.
