One who performed tayammum in a manner not prescribed due to his ignorance, like the action of 'Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), does he have to repeat it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He (peace and blessings be upon him) said in a hadith about 'Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me on an errand, so I became in a state of major ritual impurity, but I did not find water, so I rolled in the dust as a beast rolls. بعثني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في حاجة فأجنبت فلم أجد الماء فتمرغت في الصعيد كما تمرغ الدابة
to the end of the hadith.
The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) taught him how to perform tayammum and said to him:
This would have been enough for you," and he struck the earth with his hands once, then he wiped the right hand with the left one, and the outside of the palms of his hands and his face. إنما كان يكفيك أن تقول بيديك هكذا ولم يعد التيمم
Bulugh al-Maram 129
Does this hadith imply that the ignorant person is excused, because in the hadith of the one who messed up his prayer, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Repeat the prayer, for you have not prayed. أعد الصلاة فإنك لم تصل
May Allah reward you?

The Shaykh : This hadith of 'Ammar ibn Yasir indicates that one who performs tayammum in a manner not prescribed, believing that this is the prescribed manner, does not have to repeat it. He does not have to repeat it because he is an ignorant person who exerted effort in understanding.
As for the hadith of the one who messed up his prayer, it is the same, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) did not order him to repeat the past prayers, where he was performing them without tranquility while ignorant.
As for the current prayer, he was only ordered to repeat it because he was required to perform a valid prayer at that time and he had not done so. This is the difference between the two. As for the fact that both are excused by ignorance, they are equal, because the one who messed up his prayer was not told: "Repeat what you prayed," and likewise, 'Ammar was not told: "Repeat what you prayed." Yes.
