Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What should a woman who reached the miqat while menstruating do?

The Shaykh : Yes, she enters the state of ihram.

The questioner : She enters the state of ihram. And what does she do if she becomes pure before the Day of Tashriq?

The Shaykh : If it is before the Day of Tashriq, she performs tawaf.

The questioner : She performs tawaf.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And she was in the state of ihram for 'Umrah, so she performs tawaf?

The Shaykh : She performs tawaf to complete her 'Umrah.

The questioner : And what does she do if she becomes pure after the Day of Tashriq and she was in the state of ihram?

The Shaykh : Her Hajj becomes Hajj ifrad.

The questioner : To Hajj?

The Shaykh : Ifrad.

The questioner : Ifrad.

The Shaykh : So she performs all the rituals except the arrival tawaf. Then, when she becomes pure at 'Arafah, Muzdalifah, or Mina, she descends and performs the tawaf of ifadah. By doing so, her Hajj is completed. After that, she goes out to Tan'im and performs the 'Umrah that she missed.

The questioner : Okay, but a woman reached the miqat, and she thought that when she arrived in Mecca, it would be a few days and she would become pure, so she entered the state of ihram for 'Umrah. The Day of Tashriq came and she had not become pure; what does she do with the 'Umrah for which she entered the state of ihram?

The Shaykh : I told you, she converts her 'Umrah to Hajj, the opposite of one who performs Hajj ifrad, who converts his Hajj to 'Umrah.

The questioner : And she performs 'Umrah?

The Shaykh : After the Hajj.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you.
