What is your opinion of the book

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: The book is a critique of the book *Sifat al-Salah* ... its author is Mazen Badran.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner: I do not know if you have looked into this book.

The Shaykh: Do you know who the author is?

The questioner: I heard that he is a young man.

The Shaykh: Do you know who the author is?

The questioner : I know him.

The Shaykh: Do you know him as a scholar?

The questioner: I know him, but I do not know him as a scholar or otherwise. And I would like to know, what is your opinion of these books?

The Shaykh: My opinion is that he is not a scholar, but rather an ignorant person.

The questioner: Yes, and the gist of his book.

The Shaykh: May Allah guide you, that answer does not suffice you.

The questioner: Okay, O Shaykh, may Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: Subhan Allah, every time a barker barks and a striker strikes, you raise your voices with him and ask about him. I fear most of all that a Jew or a Christian will come and respond to Al-Albani, and you will say, "What is your opinion of so-and-so's book?" My brother, do you know the author of so-and-so's book? No, we do not know him. The book *Sifat al-Salah* is thirty years old in the Islamic world, and no one was found among all the scholars of the world and their sheikhs, who are older than me and younger than me in age, and older than me in age and knowledge, and so on, to respond except one young man now, who is being paid, and Allah knows his intention. Yes, what is your opinion of this book? Tomorrow you will ask me about the books of this distorter of the scholars' words and attacker of the Book and the Sunnah, and so on. This is a door that does not end.

The questioner: His argument is the pamphlet of al-Siqaf.

The Shaykh: A pamphlet by some people, but he has misled many people, and the reason is that people have no awareness. Every time a barker barks, they shout with him. O people, be calm, understand that this person who wrote this treatise or others, what do you know of his scholarly life? Nothing, except that he wrote the treatise in response to Al-Albani. The best of his states is that he is pointing to him with the finger today, saying, "By Allah, so-and-so responded to Al-Albani, Masha'Allah." This is the best of his states. As for the worst of his states, it is that he wants to plot against the Sunnah and make Muslims doubt the hadith of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). This hadith and this Sunnah, which this man served, not by his testimony, but by the testimony of the great scholars in various lands of Islam for more than half a century now, he wants to refute Al-Albani with a stroke of the pen, whether in *Sifat al-Salah* or *al-Silsilah al-Sahihah* or *al-Da'ifah* or others. And therefore, my advice to the youth is not to pay attention to any book that falls into their hands. Yes, what is your opinion, O Shaykh, of Al-Albani regarding this book? What can Al-Albani do? May Allah help him with this era and this release in knowledge and lack of shame and religion. And Allah is the Helper, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah. Do you have anything else?

The questioner: May Allah reward you with good, your supplication, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh: Peace be upon you, listen, may Allah guide you. This one whom you do not know contradicts in his words those whom you know.

The questioner: No, but for example, he establishes, for example.

The Shaykh: May Allah guide you, may Allah guide you, my brother. This man is ignorant. May Allah guide you. Not everyone who writes and composes becomes a scholar. Not everyone who writes in tafsir is a mufassir. Not everyone who writes in hadith is a muhaddith. Not everyone who writes in fiqh is a faqih. Now is the time of fitnah and the time of loving to appear, that so-and-so is a scholar, so-and-so is a writer, so-and-so is a muhaddith, so-and-so is a faqih, and so on. So do not be deceived by this. His inner self is like his outer self. His outer self is beautiful decoration, his inner self is ... If you know what is in it, you know the ignorance.

The questioner : The Shaykh :
The student: There is an important question for the sake of.
Another student : Please, my brother.
