What is the difference between the word

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
What is the difference between the following terms: "Haddathana" (narrated to us), "Akhabarana" (informed us), "Anbana" (notified us), "Dhakara lana" (mentioned to us), or "Qala lana" (said to us)? There are some technical terms on which there is consensus, and others on which there is scholarly disagreement. For example, there is no difference between "Haddathana" and "Akhabarana" except that "Haddathana" is more explicit and clear in indicating that the student who says "Haddathana" heard the hadith directly from him. "Akhabarana" implies that the information may have been conveyed through oral narration, which is the primary meaning, or it may have been conveyed through writing. "Anbana" is closer in meaning to the second option (writing) than the first. Thus, these terms have three levels: "Haddathana" is explicit text regarding hearing; "Akhabarana" is a stronger text regarding hearing, though it allows for the possibility of writing where there was no hearing; and "Anbana" is text regarding writing, not hearing. These are technical terms. As for "Dhakara lana," it may have been mentioned to him either through oral narration or through writing. Likewise, "Qala lana" does not necessarily indicate in either "Dhakara" or "Qala" that it was through the method of oral narration and hearing, or through the method of writing.
The student : ... has a relation ... .

The Shaykh: No, it has no relation. That is to say, if the narration is by the word "hearing" or "writing" or any other method, as mentioned in the terminology, such as ijazah (authorization), all of that does not affect the validity of the narration if the conditions for validity are met.
