You said that it is forbidden for a woman to pluck the hair from her face and body, but there is a woman who has thick hair like a man’s.

The questioner : A questioner says: You said yesterday that it is forbidden for a woman to pluck the hair from her face and body, but she has thick hair like a man’s, and she consulted a doctor who told her that she is suffering from this condition; is it permissible for one in her situation to pluck the hair?
The Shaykh : It is not permissible for a woman to alter her hair except in what her Lord has permitted her, such as plucking the armpit hair, shaving the pubic hair, and so on. There is no difference in this between men and women. As we discussed in a previous session in detail regarding this issue, we mentioned there that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw one of his Companions who had lengthened his lower garment, so he ordered him to raise his garment. He said: “O Messenger of Allah, there is a defect in my legs,” indicating a curvature in his legs or something similar—he was covering this defect by lengthening the garment—so the response was:.
This person was created by Allah with straight legs, while another person was created with curved legs, and a third person was created with legs where the feet are far apart from each other. All of this is the creation of Allah; therefore, the Muslim should submit to what Allah has created, because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) created man as He said:[At-Tin 95:4]. He created all of man, meaning He created, for example, Europeans with white faces and Africans with black faces. One may love whiteness and boast and take pride in his color, and the opposite is the opposite: the black person takes pride and disparages the white person, calling him, for example, a leper. All of this is the creation of Allah, and for a certain wisdom, Allah created this variation in color, hair, and other things. Therefore, the believer, whether male or female, should be content with what Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) created and formed in him.
This involves a great deal of the thinking of some people, both women and men. Some women say, either in their hearts or through their actions, “Oh, if only our Lord had not created us as women but as men.” And some deviant young men who put on gold... and shave their beards morning and evening wish that our Lord had created us as what? Women, without this trouble and shaving and other things. All of this is an objection to the creation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). In order to refute this intellectual deviation, His saying (Blessed and Exalted is He) came:[Al-Qasas 28:68]. It is not us, [Al-Qasas 28:68]. In this simple society, you see this thick, beautiful beard, you see the light beard, you see a young man who is beardless, as if he were a woman in his face. This is how his Lord (Mighty and Majestic) chose for him. Therefore, we should be content with the divine decree and destiny of Allah, and not act in any way to change the decree and destiny except with knowledge from Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). I mean—as I said earlier—plucking the armpit hair is a recommended practice, shaving the pubic hair is a recommended practice. Allah created men and women with this hair growing so that it would be a sign of reaching the age of legal responsibility. So He commanded us in one place to pluck, and in another place to shave. He did not command us, for example, if a man’s beard covers his whole face up to the hollows of his eyes, for us to take from here or here or here. He did not command us nor permit us this. Therefore: [Luqman 31:11], we are content with the divine decree and destiny of Allah.

Every creation of Allah is good.
